The Town of Mayerthorpe

Mayerthorpe is a great place to set roots.  Our active agricultural community boasts a charming main street, numerous amenities and friendly community connections. 

Growth is abundant here – whether it’s from the numerous surrounding farms as diverse as crops, cattle, pigs, sheep and wild game or the sense of community that grows with our annual events like the Agricultural Fair or the Fallen Four Marathon and Relay.  The Mayerthorpe Annual Rodeo is held in May – this is where hometown heroes Rod Hay, Denny Hay and Denny Golden got their start before going on to become Canadian Finals Rodeo Champions – talk about growing pride!
